AFRICAQUADS

Customers are responsible for choosing the correct quad bike size according to the rider's age, height, weight and riding requirements.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on used quad bikes simply because the customer purchased the wrong size, including after one or two months of use.

Please make sure you select the correct model before purchasing. Statutory consumer rights remain protected.

• Voluntary returns or exchanges may be considered within 7 days of delivery if the quad bike is unused and returned in its original condition and packaging.
• Used quad bikes cannot be returned simply because the customer changes their mind or wants a larger model.
• Courier costs for voluntary returns are the customer's responsibility.
• All returns required by South African consumer law will be honoured.

Africa Quads covers genuine manufacturing defects and honours all applicable statutory warranty rights.

Warranty claims may be subject to inspection by a qualified mechanic to determine the cause of the problem.

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use, accidents, neglect or failure to maintain the quad bike properly.

IMPORTANT – ENGINE DAMAGE CAUSED BY MISUSE IS NOT A MANUFACTURING FAULT.

The following damage is not covered where it results from customer misuse or improper maintenance:

• Running or driving the quad bike without sufficient engine oil.
• Using incorrect oil or fuel mixtures.
• Engine damage caused by overheating due to misuse or inadequate maintenance.
• Failure to carry out required servicing.
• Damage caused by overloading, abuse or incorrect operation.
• Damage caused by improper repairs or modifications.

If an inspection establishes that engine damage was caused by running without oil, misuse or neglected maintenance, the customer will be responsible for the repair and replacement parts costs.

Customers are responsible for servicing and maintaining their Nitro Quad Bikes according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

We strongly recommend keeping all service records, receipts and maintenance documents.

If a warranty claim is submitted without service records, Africa Quads may request other evidence of proper maintenance and arrange an inspection.

Where the inspection confirms that lack of maintenance caused the damage, the customer will be liable for the repair and parts costs.

Missing service records alone will not automatically cancel a valid statutory warranty claim.

Africa Quads has Nitro Quad Bike spare parts available for customers to purchase, subject to stock availability.

If a fault is not covered by warranty:

• The customer is responsible for replacement parts and repair costs.
• A repair quotation will be provided where applicable.
• Paid repairs will require customer approval before proceeding.

We are happy to assist customers in sourcing parts for their Nitro Quad Bikes.

Customers must contact Africa Quads with proof of purchase and details of the problem.

Where necessary, a qualified mechanic may inspect the quad bike to determine whether the issue resulted from a manufacturing defect, another legally covered fault or customer misuse.

South African law provides a six-month statutory warranty for qualifying goods that do not meet required quality standards. Customers retain their legal rights to the applicable remedies, including repair, replacement or refund.

These terms comply with the applicable provisions of the South African Consumer Protection Act.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts customers' statutory consumer rights.
